Mesa, AZ (January 14, 2026) – Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred Friday night in the parking lot of a Circle K convenience store located near South Country Club Drive.
The collision took place at approximately 8:06 p.m., when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while in the parking area. The individual sustained minor injuries to the arm and wrist but declined medical transport at the scene. Mesa police officers, along with a supervising sergeant, responded to the location and began documenting the incident under the injury hit-and-run traffic code.
According to witnesses and early dispatch reports, the suspect vehicle—a light blue or silver Toyota—fled the scene heading north on Country Club Drive. Law enforcement has withheld the license plate number as the investigation remains active.
Officers are working to locate the driver involved and are encouraging anyone with information about the vehicle or the incident to contact local authorities.
