Lubbock, TX (January 14, 2026) – A multi-vehicle crash involving a commercial truck and several passenger vehicles resulted in reported injuries and emergency entrapment late Tuesday near a busy Lubbock intersection. The collision occurred at Clovis Rd and North Quaker Ave, prompting a large-scale response from fire, rescue, and medical units.
Initial reports indicated that a gray car, a black vehicle—believed to be a Kia—along with a silver Hyundai Elantra and a Ready Ice delivery truck were all involved in the incident. Emergency responders were alerted to possible entrapments in the black vehicle, and specialized rescue crews worked to safely extract individuals from the wreckage.
Firefighters from Engine 4, Engine 7, Truck 4, and Battalion 2 were among those dispatched to the scene. Paramedics assisted those injured, providing treatment on-site as investigators secured the area and began collecting information regarding the crash sequence.
