Chattanooga, TN (January 14, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched to a crash with injuries on South Highland Park Ave, between East Main St and East 16th St, in the Highland Park neighborhood of Chattanooga.
The incident occurred around 11:42 a.m. and initially prompted a full extrication response after police on scene reported that a vehicle door might need to be forced open. Ladder Five and Medic Seven responded to the scene along with Chattanooga Police Department units. Fortunately, responders were able to complete the “door pop” without requiring full squad intervention, and the extrication request was canceled shortly afterward.
At least one person sustained injuries in the crash, though the extent of those injuries has not been publicly confirmed. Paramedics provided treatment at the scene, and traffic was temporarily affected as crews worked to secure the area and assist the individuals involved.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by local authorities. No details have been released regarding the vehicles involved or whether any citations are expected.
