Long Beach, CA (January 14, 2026) – Authorities responded to a reported injury crash Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and West 20th Street in Long Beach. The incident took place just before 5:00 p.m. and involved at least two vehicles.
Police officers and emergency medical personnel were called to the scene after initial reports indicated that at least one individual may have sustained injuries. Paramedics assessed those involved and provided treatment for a variety of injuries. The specific number of people hurt has not yet been released.
The intersection remained partially blocked for a period as crews worked to manage the scene, clear the roadway, and assist those affected. Police provided traffic control while the initial investigation was underway.
