Norfolk, VA (January 14, 2026) – Two people sustained injuries in a highway crash early Wednesday morning on Interstate 64 near Exit 284 Alpha in Norfolk.
The collision was reported around 5:30 a.m., prompting a coordinated response from emergency medical teams and law enforcement. Dispatchers indicated a “Signal Four” crash, and police were requested to assist on scene. Initial reports confirmed that two occupants of the vehicle suffered head and chest injuries.
Medics arrived shortly after and provided immediate treatment. Both individuals were evaluated for trauma and transported to a nearby hospital for further care. The extent of their injuries has not yet been officially disclosed.
The crash caused delays in the area during the early commute as crews worked to clear the wreckage and investigate the incident.
