Lancaster County, PA (January 14, 2026) – A 64-year-old woman died on January 12 after a fire tore through her apartment in Manor Township. Diane Bloodworth was found dead around 1:30 p.m. in a second-floor unit on the 200 block of Redwood Drive, according to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.
Bloodworth was identified through dental records, with the coroner’s office confirming that the cause of death was smoke inhalation and thermal burns. Her death has been ruled accidental.
The cause of the fire and its point of origin have not yet been disclosed. The property where the fire occurred is a garage with two apartment units above it. The Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal is conducting the investigation into the incident.
