Whitehall Township, PA (January 14, 2026) – Two multi-vehicle crashes on Route 22 near the exits for MacArthur Road and Fullerton Avenue in Whitehall Township caused significant traffic disruptions early Wednesday morning.

The first incident occurred around 2:30 AM in the westbound lane, involving a tractor-trailer. Several people were reported injured, though the severity of their injuries is still under investigation. State police were on the scene, working to clear the area and begin their investigation.

Just hours later, around 6:15 AM, another multi-vehicle crash took place in the eastbound lane. Details on those involved are still being gathered.

State Police Trooper Nathan Branosky confirmed that both east and westbound lanes have since reopened, allowing traffic to flow once again. Authorities are continuing to investigate both crashes, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
