Aurora, CO (January 14, 2026) – A tragic crash in central Aurora on January 13 claimed the life of a motorcyclist and left three others hospitalized with injuries. The collision, which occurred shortly after 2:00 PM at the intersection of S. Dunkirk Street and E. Colorado Drive, involved a motorcycle and an SUV.
According to the Aurora Police Department, the motorcyclist, traveling south on Dunkirk Street, was reportedly speeding when the crash occurred near Buckley Space Force Base. The force of the collision resulted in the motorcyclist being fatally injured. Emergency crews arrived quickly at the scene, where they found the three occupants of the SUV injured, though their conditions were not immediately disclosed.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the three people in the SUV were transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Authorities have not released their identities, and the extent of their injuries remains unclear at this time.
