Philadelphia, PA (January 14, 2026) – A car pursuit near Market Street in Philadelphia on January 13 led to an officer being injured after a white Tesla with a temporary tag ran over the officer’s foot.
The incident began around 4:00 PM when police initiated a pursuit of the vehicle, which was suspected in an assault on an officer during a traffic stop. The Tesla, which was occupied by two individuals, fled the scene and was last seen near the 3500 block of Market Street.
During the pursuit, the vehicle ran over the officer’s foot, but fortunately, the officer’s injuries were not life-threatening. Despite efforts to locate the vehicle, it managed to elude authorities.
The car, a white Tesla with temporary tags, remains at large, and local law enforcement is continuing their search. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation into the incident continues.
