The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

How Do Garage Fires Spread Quickly Through Homes?
Garage fires can become especially dangerous because they often involve flammable materials such as vehicles, fuel, and stored chemicals. When a fire starts in a garage, it can grow rapidly and spread into the main living areas of a home through connecting doors, ceilings, or ventilation systems.
Vehicles themselves can intensify fires due to fuel, electrical components, and other combustible materials. Once flames spread beyond the garage, they can quickly engulf large portions of a home, reducing the time occupants have to escape.
Installing smoke detectors near garages, keeping flammable materials stored safely, and ensuring proper fire barriers between garages and living spaces can help reduce the risk and improve safety in the event of a fire.
