Franklin Co, MO (January 15, 2026) – A woman sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision that took place Wednesday morning along westbound Missouri Route 100 near Hogan Rd in Franklin County.
The crash occurred around 10:05 a.m., when a 2015 Honda CR-V, traveling eastbound, failed to yield and entered the path of a westbound 2026 Chevrolet Equinox. The Honda’s front end struck the front-right corner of the Chevrolet, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles. The Honda was later towed from the scene, while the Equinox was driven away.
Responding to the scene were Trooper B.V. Landenberg (833) of Troop C and Trooper Straatmann (959), who assisted with the investigation. The 30-year-old driver of the Equinox, a Washington, MO resident, suffered injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital Washington for treatment.
Both drivers had been properly restrained at the time of the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the events leading up to the collision.
