St. Charles, MO (January 15, 2026) – A woman sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday night on westbound Interstate 64, just east of the I-70 interchange in St. Charles County. The incident was reported at approximately 8:16 p.m. on January 14.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2021 Nissan Rogue was traveling in the left lane of westbound I-64 when it merged into the right lane. Ahead, a 2019 RAM 1500 had come to a stop due to traffic conditions. The Nissan failed to stop in time and struck the rear of the RAM, resulting in minor damage to both vehicles.
The driver of the Nissan, a 59-year-old woman from O’Fallon, was wearing a seatbelt and sustained injuries. She was transported by St. Charles County Ambulance District to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis for treatment. The 45-year-old male driver of the RAM, a resident of Troy, MO, was not injured and was also properly restrained.
Authorities temporarily secured the Nissan at the scene while the RAM was able to be driven away. The crash remains under investigation, with assistance from MSGT. J. VanMeter.
