Duncansville, PA (January 15, 2026) – A Duncansville man died in a crash on Forsht Drive on January 14, when his Jeep Wrangler collided with an oncoming Honda CR-V. Emergency responders from local fire and EMS units arrived on the scene to provide care for the occupants of both vehicles.
According to state police, the 59-year-old driver of the Jeep began drifting into the opposite lane, where the Honda was traveling south. The Honda’s driver attempted to avoid the collision, but the Jeep struck the Honda’s left front quarter panel. The Jeep then left the road, hitting a fence and coming to rest in a nearby wetland. The Honda stopped along the roadway facing north.
The driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene. The Jeep’s passenger sustained possible injuries and was treated on-site by paramedics before further evaluation. The Honda’s driver suffered minor injuries and received medical attention at the scene.
Authorities believe the 59-year-old man experienced a medical event that caused him to lose control of the vehicle. Responders also ensured the area was safe and managed traffic while the investigation was conducted.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing, and local police continue to review the circumstances surrounding the incident. Our thoughts are with the family and those affected, and we hope for a full recovery for the injured occupants.
