Redwood City, CA (January 15, 2026) – A collision involving a motorcycle and a Tesla on southbound Highway 101 left at least one person injured Tuesday morning near the Marsh Rd exit in Redwood City.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 9:19 a.m. on January 13. Emergency personnel responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the collision involving the two vehicles.
At least one individual sustained injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital for medical care. The identity of the injured party and the severity of their injuries have not been released.
Authorities have not confirmed the events that led up to the incident, and it remains unclear whether speed, lane changes, or other factors contributed to the crash. Both vehicles were removed from the roadway as officers worked to restore normal traffic conditions.
The California Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation.
