Dayton, OH (January 15, 2026) – A section of Interstate 75 southbound was temporarily shut down Wednesday afternoon following a crash with injuries near the W River Rd area in Dayton. The incident occurred around 3:55 p.m. and prompted a coordinated response from local emergency services and state patrol units.
Responders arrived on scene to find damaged vehicles and at least one injured individual requiring medical assistance. Paramedics provided on-site care as officers worked to secure the highway and manage the growing traffic backlog.
