Dayton, OH (January 15, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a traffic collision with injuries Wednesday morning near East 3rd St, close to the intersections with North Philadelphia St and North Marlowe St in Dayton. The incident occurred around 8:49 a.m. and drew a significant response from fire and medical units, including Engine 2, Medic 18, and rescue teams.
According to dispatch communications, responders arrived to find a crash scene with at least one individual possibly injured. While the extent of the injuries has not yet been confirmed, paramedics assessed those involved and provided medical care at the scene.
The location of the crash also prompted concern due to its proximity to I-75 southbound near West 3rd St, where additional traffic complications may have been caused. Crews worked to stabilize the scene and restore safe conditions in the area.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision.
