Los Angeles, CA (January 15, 2026) – A hit-and-run incident late Tuesday night left one person injured on the 9800 block of Maie Ave in South Los Angeles, prompting a response from emergency crews.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:49 p.m. on January 14. According to initial reports, the victim sustained injuries after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene before authorities arrived.
Emergency medical services provided on-site treatment and transported the injured individual to a nearby hospital for further care. The severity of the injuries has not been publicly disclosed.
