Sacramento, CA (January 15, 2026) – A person was injured in a hit-and-run collision on Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of W El Camino Ave and Gateway Oaks Dr in the South Natomas area of Sacramento.
The incident occurred around 4:38 p.m., during peak afternoon traffic. According to reports, the victim was inside a vehicle that was struck by another car, which fled the scene immediately following the crash. Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a dark-colored sedan heading east on El Camino Ave.
Emergency crews arrived quickly to treat the injured individual, who sustained a variety of injuries in the collision. The victim was later transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Officials have not disclosed the extent of the injuries or the individual’s current condition.
