Oxnard, CA (January 16, 2026) – A traffic collision on Wednesday night in the Via Marina neighborhood of Oxnard led to injuries and an emergency response at the intersection of Deckside Dr and W Wooley Rd.
The crash took place around 9:46 p.m., involving two vehicles near a residential area just blocks from the Oxnard Marina. Residents reported hearing the impact and seeing emergency vehicles arrive minutes later.
Crews from the Oxnard Fire Department and emergency medical services assisted multiple individuals at the scene. Those injured were treated for various levels of trauma, and at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for additional care. The current condition of the victims has not been disclosed.
Law enforcement officers closed a portion of the roadway as they conducted an on-site investigation and cleared the damaged vehicles. Details regarding what caused the crash remain under review, including whether speed or distraction played a factor.
