Kansas City, MO (January 16, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to an injury accident on Thursday at the intersection of E 23rd St and Topping Ave in Kansas City. The crash occurred during the afternoon hours and involved at least two vehicles.
Initial dispatch audio indicated that at least one individual sustained injuries in the collision. Paramedics arrived quickly to assess those hurt, providing on-scene treatment before transporting at least one person to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation.
Both vehicles remained at the intersection following the incident, causing a temporary traffic disruption while responders managed the scene.
