Jackson County, FL (January 16, 2026) – A 45-year-old woman was killed in a motorcycle crash early on Thursday morning on Interstate 10 in Jackson County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The deadly accident occurred at approximately 3:38 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-10 near mile marker 159.5. Florida Highway Patrol officials confirmed that the woman was involved in a single-vehicle crash while riding her motorcycle.

Emergency personnel, including Jackson County EMS, responded to the scene. Tragically, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene by medical crews.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, and officials have not yet released the identity of the victim. No additional vehicles were reported to be involved.
