Syracuse, NY (January 16, 2026) – Several people were injured in a traffic collision that occurred on Thursday on Almond St in the heart of Syracuse’s University Hill neighborhood. The crash happened between E Adams St and Jackson St, a stretch frequently used by university students, hospital staff, and downtown commuters.
First responders from Syracuse Fire and EMS arrived quickly to assist those involved. At least two vehicles were part of the incident, and emergency crews provided on-scene care for a variety of injuries.
