Indianapolis, IN (January 18, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a serious motor vehicle accident near Eskenazi Avenue in Indianapolis involving a sedan and a semi-truck, leaving two adults injured.
The crash occurred and involved a sedan occupied by a 24-year-old female and a 24-year-old male. According to emergency medical reports, the semi was reportedly traveling at approximately 50 miles per hour at the time of the collision. The female passenger sustained multiple injuries, including head, neck, back, and abdominal pain, as well as injuries to her lips and left shoulder. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Upon arrival at the medical facility, paramedics reported the female had received 100 micrograms of fentanyl for pain management, which effectively reduced her discomfort. Her vital signs were stable, with a heart rate of 106, blood pressure at 113/70, and normal oxygen levels. She remained alert with a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 15.
Details about the male occupant’s condition have not been disclosed, and the current status of the semi-truck driver is unknown. The exact location and contributing factors of the crash are still under investigation by local authorities.
