Aurora, CO (January 18, 2026) – A traffic accident with injuries was reported on Saturday evening near E Cornell Ave in Aurora, where emergency responders extricated one individual and transported two others to a local hospital.
The crash occurred around 7:26 p.m. on January 17. According to dispatch reports, three people were involved in the collision. One person had to be extricated from a vehicle by fire crews, and two others were transported to Aurora South Hospital, one in critical (red) condition and another with non-life-threatening (green) injuries.
Firefighters and EMS responded quickly to stabilize the scene, provide medical care, and coordinate hospital transport. A fire tender unit was also involved in post-response support.
Details about the cause of the crash and the number of vehicles involved have not yet been released. Authorities are continuing to investigate.
