Aurora, CO (January 18, 2026) – Emergency crews responded late on Saturday night to a serious rollover crash at the intersection of Peoria Street and Iliff Avenue that left multiple people injured and trapped.
The crash occurred around 9:52 p.m. According to dispatch communications, a single vehicle sustained heavy damage after rolling over into a nearby parking lot. Firefighters, medics, and police units quickly arrived on scene to conduct triage and begin rescue operations.
Two occupants were reported trapped inside the rolled vehicle and classified as “red” triage patients, indicating critical injuries. A third individual was found on the roadway and classified as “green,” signifying non-life-threatening injuries. One of the patients was described as a 37-year-old female who was unconscious but breathing and suffering from back pain.
Due to the severity of the situation, responders requested two additional ambulances to assist with emergency transport. Multiple rescue units, including Engine 11, Ladder 8, and Medic 110, worked together alongside police to stabilize the scene and provide urgent care.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities have not released further information about contributing factors or the identities of those involved.
