Atlanta, GA (January 18, 2026) – A crash involving a white Dodge Ram caused injuries and significant traffic delays on Friday evening on I-20 westbound near the Hamilton E. Holmes Dr exit. The incident occurred around 7:26 p.m. on January 16 and blocked multiple lanes, including the right shoulder.
Emergency crews, including fire and medical personnel, responded promptly to assist the injured and manage the scene. Authorities confirmed that at least one person sustained injuries in the crash. Utility teams were notified, and HERO units from the Georgia Department of Transportation also arrived to assist with traffic control and vehicle removal.
The white Dodge Ram was found obstructing traffic across several lanes, contributing to heavy congestion in the area. Two parties were reportedly involved in the crash, and additional officers were requested due to pending disputes at the scene.
