Wooster, OH (January 19, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident on Saturday evening at the intersection of Burbank Rd and Leatherman Blvd resulted in multiple injuries and a coordinated emergency response involving several local agencies.
The Ohio State Patrol (OSP) initially responded to the scene, where they discovered two vehicles involved in the crash. One of the vehicles sustained heavy rear-end damage, suggesting a significant impact. Early reports indicated that as many as four individuals may have been injured in the collision.
Given the severity of the incident, mutual aid was requested from Wooster City Fire, who arrived shortly after to assist in managing patient care and traffic control. Emergency medical teams assessed and treated the injured, with at least one person transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
Command at the scene was later transferred to Canaan Township Fire, who coordinated the remaining rescue operations and oversaw the transport process. Details about the extent of the victims’ injuries or their current conditions have not yet been released.
