The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 p.m. on January 18 at the intersection of Central Ave and E 23rd St, a well-traveled area known for its steady flow of cross-town traffic. According to initial reports, the collision involved multiple vehicles and led to a prompt emergency response from Chattanooga Fire and Rescue, along with emergency medical services.
Several individuals were evaluated at the scene for a variety of injuries.
