Polk, MO (January 19, 2026) – One person was injured on Saturday evening following a two-vehicle rear-end accident just east of Bolivar. The collision took place at approximately 6:15 p.m. on January 17 along Aldrich Rd at S 132nd Rd, about 100 feet outside city limits in Polk County.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol officials, the incident occurred when an eastbound 2004 Ford F250, driven by an 18-year-old male from Bolivar, struck the rear of a 2012 Nissan Rogue. The Nissan was also traveling eastbound at the time. The impact left both vehicles with moderate damage.
Paramedics arrived shortly after the collision and provided aid to the 48-year-old female driver of the Nissan, who sustained injuries. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and was transported by ambulance to Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar for further evaluation and care.
The driver of the Ford F250 was not reported injured and was able to drive his vehicle from the scene. The Nissan Rogue, however, was towed by A&J Towing due to the extent of its damage.
