San Diego, CA (January 19, 2026) – A man was hospitalized Saturday night after his foot was reportedly run over by a vehicle outside a bar near Fifth Ave in San Diego, according to dispatch audio reports.
The incident occurred around 9:55 p.m. on January 17. Emergency responders were called to the scene, where they found the man in visible pain, complaining of a serious foot injury. He appeared to be intoxicated and requested pain medication while being assessed by medics.
Paramedics transported him to Scripps Mercy Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The identity of the driver and details of the vehicle involved were not immediately released.
