Wilmington, DE (January 19, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving multiple patients near N Rodney St on January 18. The crash prompted both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) units to respond after one of the patients reported chest pain.
Initial reports from the scene indicated several individuals were involved in the collision, though the number of vehicles and the total number of injured persons have not yet been confirmed by officials. BLS crews were first to arrive and began triage before requesting ALS assistance for a patient showing signs of chest-related trauma or distress.

The incident remains under investigation as authorities review the circumstances leading up to the collision.
We extend our best wishes to all those injured and thank the first responders who acted swiftly to provide care at the scene.
