Lakeland, FL (January 20, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to an early morning vehicle accident on Sunday near the intersection of Sikes Boulevard and Lake Wire Drive in Lakeland. The crash occurred at approximately 7:25 a.m. on January 18 and involved a single vehicle.

Battalion 3 and other responding units arrived to find one person injured. Initial reports indicated the possibility of entrapment, but that has not been officially confirmed. The injured individual received on-scene medical attention, though further details regarding their condition have not been released.
