Winkler County, TX (January 20, 2026) – A crash involving a commercial vehicle and a utility truck left two drivers injured Monday evening in Winkler County, according to the Winkler County Sheriff’s Office.
The collision occurred around 6:35 p.m. at the intersection of West State Highway 302 and Farm-to-Market Road 1232. Both drivers were trapped in their vehicles and required extrication by emergency crews.
Winkler County EMS transported the injured individuals to nearby medical facilities for further care. The severity of their injuries has not yet been disclosed. The Texas Department of Public Safety also responded to the scene to assist with the investigation.
As of 8:55 p.m., officials confirmed that the roadway was cleared and reopened to traffic. B&B Wrecker Service remained on site for final clean-up efforts. Authorities reminded drivers to reduce speed and exercise caution when traveling through the area.
