Minneapolis, MN (January 20, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a crash involving injuries Monday morning along Interstate 35W in northeast Minneapolis.
The accident was reported at approximately 8:22 a.m. on January 19 along the southbound lanes of I-35W near the exit for Stinson Blvd NE. First responders, including fire and EMS teams from Minneapolis Fire and Rescue, arrived at the scene to assist injured individuals. Medics provided immediate care to at least one person hurt in the crash.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the collision, which caused delays during the morning commute as emergency crews worked to treat victims and clear the roadway. Traffic was temporarily disrupted in the area while the scene was secured.
Authorities with the Minnesota State Patrol and Minneapolis Police Department are conducting a full investigation to determine the factors that led to the crash.
