Herriman, UT (January 20, 2026) – A woman sustained a serious head injury Sunday evening after being struck by a vehicle while walking through a crosswalk in Herriman.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Rosecrest Rd and Sentinel Ridge Blvd on January 18. Herriman Police responded to the scene and located an adult female pedestrian who had been hit by a vehicle while crossing the road in a marked crosswalk.
Preliminary reports indicate that the driver, another woman, was making a left turn on a green light when the collision occurred. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with what authorities described as a “significant head injury.”
Police noted that the driver remained on scene and is cooperating fully with the investigation. There were no indications of impairment, and the cause of the crash remains under review.
