Culver City, CA (January 20, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash resulted in major injuries on Monday evening on eastbound State Route 90 near the Slauson Avenue off-ramp in Culver City, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. and involved a black or gray Mazda and an SUV. Initial reports indicate that one of the vehicles veered off the roadway and struck a pole, causing significant damage and prompting a swift emergency response.
Paramedics arrived on scene and provided care to at least one individual who suffered major injuries in the crash. That person was transported to a local hospital, though their current condition remains unknown.
The identities of those involved have not yet been released, and the specific circumstances leading up to the collision remain under investigation. CHP is working to determine whether speed, distraction, or other factors played a role in the wreck.
