Thornton, CO (January 20, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 76 eastbound near East 136th Ave resulted in at least one reported injury on January 18. Emergency responders were called to the scene after reports that a person involved may have struck their head on the windshield during the crash.
The incident involved a white Chevy Silverado and a blue Dodge vehicle. The vehicles were located just west of the Eagle Blvd area, with both showing signs of impact. Responders assessed the scene and checked on the injured party, though the severity of the injury has not been officially confirmed.
Units remained on scene to assist with traffic management and provide medical aid as needed. No road closures were reported, but eastbound traffic in the immediate area was likely affected during the response.
