Alexandria, VA (January 20, 2026) – A traffic accident with reported injuries took place Saturday night near Mount Zephyr Park along Richmond Hwy in Alexandria, prompting a response from both fire and medical units.
Emergency crews from Engine 424 and Medic 424 were dispatched just before 10:00 p.m. to the 22309 area following reports of a crash near the park entrance. Upon arrival, teams worked to assess the scene and assist at least one individual who sustained injuries as a result of the collision.
The specifics surrounding the number of vehicles involved or the cause of the crash have not yet been released. However, traffic along Richmond Hwy was briefly impacted while crews managed the aftermath and ensured the safety of the surrounding area.
