Bloomington, IN (January 20, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a vehicle accident involving injuries Saturday morning, January 17, near the intersection of South College Avenue and West Fourth Street in downtown Bloomington.
The crash was reported around 11:13 a.m. and involved at least one vehicle between West 3rd and 4th Streets along College Avenue. Fire and rescue units, including Engine 1 and Rescue 2, were dispatched to the scene following a 1050 PD call—a traffic collision requiring police response.
First responders arrived to find at least one person injured as a result of the crash. Paramedics provided medical attention at the scene, and the extent of the injuries is still being evaluated. Additional units were requested to assist with traffic control and incident support.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by local authorities.
