Bennet, NE (January 20, 2026) – Two children were injured Monday afternoon following a UTV crash on private property near South 162nd Street and Bennet Road, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash was reported at approximately 4:06 p.m., prompting a multi-agency response from emergency units in Bennet, Hickman, and Lincoln. Upon arrival, first responders found two young victims with varying degrees of injuries.
Authorities confirmed that one child suffered critical injuries and was quickly transported for emergency medical care. The second child sustained less severe injuries and also received medical attention. Their current conditions have not yet been publicly updated.
