Beekman, NY (January 21, 2026) – Injuries were reported following a vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Clove Valley Rd and Route 55 on Tuesday morning.
Shortly after 9:00 a.m., authorities received calls regarding a collision involving two passenger vehicles at the rural intersection in Beekman. Upon arrival, responders from Beekman Fire and EMS found the vehicles with visible front-end damage, and one had come to rest partially off the roadway.
Paramedics provided on-site medical aid to individuals involved, addressing a range of injuries. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation, though the nature and severity of the injuries have not been officially disclosed. Traffic delays were noted in both directions as emergency vehicles blocked lanes to assist the injured and remove debris.
Officials with the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office remained at the scene to gather witness statements and assess possible contributing factors, including visibility issues or roadway conditions. The intersection was fully reopened to traffic a short time later, after cleanup was completed.
