Dayton, OH (January 21, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident near Basore Rd in Dayton left both drivers injured on Monday afternoon, prompting a swift response from emergency personnel.
The incident occurred around 4:29 p.m. in the area of Basore Rd near Bayshore Dr and Shiloh Springs Rd. According to initial dispatch information, the crash involved a Chevrolet Trailblazer and a Ford Mustang. Early confusion suggested a possible pedestrian was struck, but responders later confirmed the collision only involved the two vehicles.
Medics treated both drivers at the scene. One suffered a reported head injury and was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. The second driver also sustained injuries, though the severity was not immediately disclosed. Both were conscious during transport, and no fatalities were reported.
