Jefferson, MO (January 21, 2026) – A woman sustained injuries on Tuesday evening following a serious two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Missouri 30 and Route PP in Jefferson County.
The crash took place at approximately 4:51 p.m. on January 20, according to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A 2021 Cadillac XT6, driven by a 27-year-old man from Jefferson City, was traveling westbound on MO-30 and reportedly approached the intersection while facing a steady red light. Instead of stopping, the vehicle entered the median to bypass stopped traffic.
At the same time, a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder, driven by a 38-year-old woman from High Ridge, was in the eastbound left-turn lane with a green arrow signal, initiating a turn onto Route PP. The westbound Cadillac entered the intersection unlawfully and struck the Nissan as it turned.
Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the scene by High Ridge Towing. Emergency personnel from the North Jefferson County Ambulance District responded promptly and transported the injured female driver to Mercy Hospital South for treatment of injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Authorities on scene included Cpl. D.A. Norton, along with Troopers D.B. Howell and C.A. Richardson, is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
