Scott Twp, PA (January 21, 2026) – A vehicle slammed through the front of a Denny’s restaurant on Greentree Rd in Scott Township during the morning hours of January 21, leaving three individuals with minor injuries and causing significant damage to the building.
According to police, emergency medical personnel and fire crews responded promptly to the scene after the vehicle crashed through the restaurant’s glass façade and into the dining area. Images released by Scott Township Police show booths pushed aside and debris scattered across the interior.
Three people were evaluated by medics for injuries described as minor. No individuals were reported trapped, and no life-threatening conditions were identified. EMS transported at least one person from the scene for further assessment.
The restaurant has been temporarily closed following the crash, with officials noting that a structural engineer will be required to assess the extent of the damage before any reopening can occur. Traffic around the area remained open, though on-site crews continued cleanup and investigation efforts throughout the morning.
An investigation remains active to determine how and why the vehicle entered the building. Officials have not released additional details on the driver’s condition or any citations.
