Tucson, AZ (January 22, 2026) – A vehicle accident resulting in injuries was reported on Thursday morning on E 29th St, near the intersection with S Van Buren Ave and close to S Sahuara Ave.
The crash occurred shortly after 9:10 a.m., drawing a rapid response from Tucson emergency crews. Paramedics arrived by 9:16 a.m. and quickly began assessing those involved. At least one individual sustained injuries requiring further treatment and was transported to a nearby medical facility. Additional victims were evaluated on scene.
The roadway remained partially blocked as responders worked to stabilize the situation and clear damaged vehicles from the area. Nearby traffic experienced minor delays as crews managed the scene and diverted vehicles away from the impacted lanes.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident. Early indicators suggest that driver error or traffic violations may have played a role, though no official findings have been released.
