Sarasota, FL (January 23, 2026) – A morning traffic accident at a major Sarasota intersection resulted in injuries and prompted an emergency response early Friday.
The incident happened at approximately 6:40 a.m. at the intersection of N Tamiami Trl and E Tamiami Cir. This area, known for its regular commuter flow, saw a slowdown as Sarasota County Fire Department units from Station 4 responded to assist those involved in the collision.
Multiple individuals were assessed at the scene, with at least one person requiring transportation to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The nature and severity of injuries have not been released.
