Moorpark, CA (January 24, 2026) – An accident resulting in injuries occurred Friday evening in Ventura County at the intersection of W Los Angeles Ave and Maureen Ln. The collision was reported at approximately 6:57 p.m. on January 23 and prompted a response from regional emergency services.
Paramedics and fire crews from Ventura County Fire and Rescue arrived at the scene and provided immediate care to those injured in the crash. At least one vehicle was involved, and individuals sustained a variety of injuries. Several victims were treated at the scene, and some were transported to local hospitals for further evaluation. The number of those hospitalized has not yet been confirmed.
The crash happened along a busy stretch of W Los Angeles Ave, near residential neighborhoods and local businesses. Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted as first responders worked to manage the scene and remove debris from the roadway.
Authorities are actively investigating the cause of the crash. Early reports suggest that factors such as driver distraction, speed, or evening road conditions may have played a role.
