Riverside, CA (January 24, 2026) – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a traffic accident with reported injuries Friday evening at the intersection of Summit St and Mountain Ave in Riverside. The crash occurred at approximately 8:18 p.m. and prompted a Bravo-level response from Engine 72 and supporting units.
Upon arrival, Riverside Fire Department personnel began evaluating those involved in the collision. While the exact number of injured individuals and the severity of their conditions has not been publicly confirmed, medics were seen providing on-site care. At least one person was believed to have sustained injuries requiring medical attention.
The intersection near Summit St and Mountain Ave experienced temporary delays as crews worked to assess the scene, assist those hurt, and safely clear the area. Officials have not yet released information regarding the number of vehicles involved or potential contributing factors.
