Riverside, CA (January 24, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision resulted in injuries Friday evening at the intersection of Pierce St and Collett Ave in Riverside, prompting an emergency response from local fire and medical crews.
The crash occurred around 6:00 p.m. on January 23 and involved a white Toyota Sienna and a red sedan. Initial reports suggested a possible entrapment, which led to a full rescue dispatch including Engine 8, Truck 2, Battalion 2, and American Medical Response units.
Upon arrival, crews confirmed moderate damage to both vehicles but determined that no individuals were trapped. One person was found injured at the scene and received medical attention from paramedics. The nature and severity of the injuries were not disclosed, but the situation was quickly brought under control. Additional responding units were canceled once it was confirmed that the incident could be handled by the remaining crews.
