Riverside, CA (January 24, 2026) – An accident involving injuries was reported Friday morning at the intersection of Canyon Crest Dr and Elgin Dr in Riverside. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on January 23 and involved at least one person requiring medical attention for visible injuries.
Crews from Riverside Fire Department and American Medical Response (AMR) responded to the scene and provided aid to an individual who sustained a laceration to the face. The injured party received on-site treatment before being transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation. The extent of additional injuries has not been confirmed.
The crash took place in a residential area of the Canyon Crest neighborhood, leading to temporary traffic disruptions while emergency crews assisted the victim and ensured the roadway was clear.
